Advanced Modelling in SimaPro
Do
you want to learn about the more complex modelling and advanced features
of SimaPro? This one day training is an optional day to the 2 day course
and gives you the opportunity to learn the more advanced features of
SimaPro 7.
You can only do this training in combination with our 2 day course to learn
the practice of LCA with SimaPro.
What you learn
This training is
dedicated to using SimaPro in a more advanced way. You learn to model
complex end of life scenarios, how to exchange data, keep your database
clean and work with parameters.

use disassemblies and disposal scenarios.

Parameters:
How to use
parameters for sensitivity analysis.

Data exchange and
keep your data clean:
How to create libraries and import and export new data or databases.
The training is given by our experienced consultants, who have done
numerous LCA projects and use SimaPro on a daily basis.
In our training we put special emphasis on practical, hands-on
experience using our SimaPro software. Computers with SimaPro
installed are provided. The training in given in the English language.

The training starts at 9.00 AM and ends around 15.30 PM.

Location
 The
October course will be held at the
NH
Doelen hotel. The
December course will be held at the
NH Carlton hotel.
Both hotels are
conveniently located in the city centre. They are close to Central Station which has very
frequent train connections to
Schiphol airport and can be reached
easily by public transport (tram 4, 9, 14, 16, 24, 25, use stop "Muntplein").

Costs
If you combine this training with the two day training
Effective LCA with SimaPro, the
costs for 3 days are
2000 Euro. These trainings are exempt of VAT for non Dutch clients
(VAT number required).
Price is including training materials and lunch,
but excluding, travel arrangements, hotel and insurance.
The optional LCA
review package starts
1200 Euro, excluding VAT when applicable.

Conditions and cancellation policy
Attendees need a basic understanding of the operation of Windows software.
As the training and all documentation are in English, a reasonable English
language skill is expected.
To make sure all participants have a similar starting level, we
require that participants have gone through the practical examples in our
SimaPro Tutorial (PDF).
The minimum number of participants for each training is 5 persons, the
maximum number is 14 persons. If the course is fully booked you can be put
on a waiting list.
PRé Consultants reserves the right to make changes in the program, date,
location and trainers or to cancel the training if enrolment criteria are
not met, if the number of participants is too low, or when conditions beyond its control prevail. In such cases, every
effort will be made to contact the participants and an alternative will be offered.
If a training is cancelled by PRé for any reason, PRé Consultants is limited to
refund of the training fee only.
Registrations made through our web site are definitive unless
cancelled in writing. Payments must be made before the training starts.
If we do not receive your payment in time, we are entitled to cancel
your registration. Note that not paying is not the equivalent of a
cancellation.
Cancellation policy
Please read our cancellation policy carefully:
- If you cancel up to 14 days in advance there are no cancellation charges, you receive 100% refund.
- Cancellations between 8 and 13 days before the start of the
training incur a 50% cancellation charge.
- Cancellations up to 7 days before the start of the training incur a
100% cancellation charge.
- It is always possible to send someone in place of the person who
originally registered.
