- A free first year is included with each indefinite license.
- Order multiple years of service in advance and get a discount!
We offer 5% discount on a 2 year renewal, 10% discount on a 3 year
renewal.
Service contracts are automatically renewed each year until
we receive your cancellation.

SimaPro 7.1 professional - temporary licenses
Temporary professional licenses:
- are ideal for testing or when you have a limited budget or short
project.
- run for a period of 2 or 12 months or any multiple thereof.
- will run as a demo after expiration: you can still access and
print your data, but no longer edit it.
- can simply be renewed after expiration, without loss of data.
- include service and support.
- include the ecoinvent v2
database. (12 month licenses only).
- can be ordered with our fax order form.
- temporary multi user versions or temporary upgrades to other
versions available on request.

including paid research. You can simply upgrade an educational license
to a professional license.

Educational versions may only be used by academic institutes for

SimaPro 7.1 educational - additional databases

The third party
ecoinvent v2 database is not included in the standard SimaPro educational database. The
price is a one time fee per software license. You do not have to
re-order when you renew your temporary license or update.

The ecoinvent database can be ordered anytime, when
you purchase a SimaPro license or at a later stage (valid service
contract required), using our fax order form.

Upgrade and update policy
Upgrading to a different version
Upgrading to a different version is easy: you only need to enter
a new registration code. After upgrading you can still use the same
database without any loss of data. Please contact
us for price details. Normally, you only pay the price difference.
The following upgrades are possible:
- from single user to multi user license (new installation required)
- from temporary to indefinite license
- from an educational to a professional license
- to a more advanced version (for example from Analyst to Developer)
Certain exceptions may apply.

Updating from a previous SimaPro version
If you have cancelled your SimaPro 6
service contract, you can buy a new
SimaPro 7.1 license with 25% discount. For older versions,
contact us for an attractive offer!
A conversion tool is available to convert your database to the new
format without loss of data.
